Lisa
has just finished editing THE TEACHER, a short film that she co-wrote
and co-directed with her son, Zack Ford. THE TEACHER is an official selection
of the 2010 Buffalo
Niagara Film Festival. She's co-producer of GIRLS' NIGHT OUT,
a narrative feature selected to screen in the New Filmmakers Series at
Anthology Film Archives in New York City in February 2010.
Lisa's screenplays
CHANGE and KING OF NOTHING placed as quarterfinalist and
semifinalist, respectively, in the Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship.
ATLANTIS was a finalist in the Austin Film Festival. WAKING
BEAUTY (teleplay for the HBO Original Series DEADWOOD) was a semifinalist
in the Disney Writing Fellowship Program. She has optioned three of
her screenplays.
Lisa is a professor
at Tompkins Cortland Community College in New York where she teaches
screenwriting and academic writing courses.
